Showing the Results of MBKM Independent Study, Mathematics Education Study Program of Alma Ata University Holds Dissemination

Mathematics Education Study Program of Alma Ata University will hold a dissemination of the results of the Ministry of Education’s MBKM Independent Study on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at the Alma Ata University Theater Room. This dissemination was held in an event entitled “Himatika Digital Math Expo”. Independent study is a program that provides opportunities for students to learn specific and practical competencies directly from experts for 1 (one) semester through learning activities and hands-on practice. This dissemination activity was carried out to display the results of the independent study of a batch of 5 UAA PMAT Study Program students and provide knowledge about independent studies which are part of the Ministry of Education and Culture’s Independent Learning Campus Program.

ME Study Program students who passed the batch 5 independent study this time conducted a study at PT Mitra MBKM which is competent in the field of multimedia, so that the output produced is in the form of mathematics learning media. This dissemination activity will be carried out in several batches, considering that in the Batch 5 Independent Study Program, 17 ME Study Program students passed as independent study participants. In the first batch of dissemination, there are 2 students who will carry out dissemination, namely Anggi Erna Aryani and Adelia Sofia Anjani. Both are students of the ME Study Program Class of 2020.

Head of ME Study Program, Rino Richardo, M.Pd., said “The implementation of this dissemination is a means of disseminating student work to a wider audience, and hopes to motivate other students to participate in producing a learning media product”. Rino further added that the results of this independent study along with the guidelines will be made into an ISBN book and IPR-ed, so that it will become a student achievement score to support graduation later. The learning media developed by ME Study Program students in this independent study is also an embodiment of the scientific vision of ME Study Program which excels in ICT-based mathematics learning innovation.
