Himmi of Alma Ata University organised an Islamic Competition with the theme “Unite Steps to Build a Qur’anic Generation by Implementing Al-Quran Values in Life”. This activity consists of two competitions, the MTQ (Musabaqah Tilawatil Qur’an) and MSQ (Musabaqah Syahril Quran) categories. Musabaqah Tilawatil Qur’an is a competition to read the Qur’an with Murattal/tadarus using Qira’at of Imam ‘Ashim of Hafs and murattal dignity. Musabaqah Syarhil Quran (MSQ) is a study analysis competition about the Qur’an. The Quran is the revelation of God revealed to the Prophet Muhammad SAW and his people and is the main reading for Muslims throughout the world. The Quran is a guide for Muslims in praying and worshipping God.
This competition was held on 26-30 September 2021, with MTQ judge Mr Andri Kusmunanto, S.Pd.I who is an expert lecturer in MTQ, and for MSQ judges is Mrs Hairiyah, S.Pd.I, M.S.I who is an expert lecturer in MSQ.
