Elementary Teacher Education – I am an elementary school teacher who never aspired to be a teacher, but fate has led me in that direction. After graduating from high school, my parents asked me to enroll in PGSD UPI Tasikmalaya Campus. The list was also almost complete by the closing date. He was also responsible for taking care of the registration. In the waiting seat, I was alone.
Not much preparation was done before the interview and written test. I just went along with it. My name was also on the list of those accepted until the time of the announcement. However, at that time, I wasn’t happy and immediately told my parents. Instead, I tried to hide the announcement in the newspaper. Eventually, my parents found the newspaper and read the announcement themselves.
This is a short story from my introduction to becoming an elementary school teacher. Although we ourselves did not initially want to become elementary school teachers, if Allah SWT has destined it, the path will certainly be facilitated and smooth.
I personally feel the satisfaction and pride of being an elementary school teacher today. Enjoy and be proud of your profession.
Some of the reasons why I am proud and happy to be an elementary school teacher are as follows:
1. Gathering with children every day
Everyone knows that children have no problems. Every day is full of happiness. They always love to play. In addition, as teachers who are always around them, we will also bring their spirit. Therefore, it is not surprising that the majority of teachers still look young.
2. Supporting child development
It is very important to have a good personality to have a bright future. Primary school teachers in primary education have largely helped the development of children. Their contribution can be seen through education and learning.
3. As a means of help in the afterlife
We realize that humans always make mistakes. If knowledge is taught and benefits the students, it becomes a hope full of rewards. According to Nu Online, the words of the hadith, “When a person dies, his deeds are cut off except for three: charity that flows, useful knowledge, and a child who always prays for him”, are quoted.
Those are some of the reasons why I am proud and happy with my job as an elementary school teacher. In addition, there may be other reasons that I haven’t thought of in this short article.
