Names of 10 Friends Guaranteed to Enter Heaven

Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training – Bro, a friend is someone who once gathered with the Prophet Muhammad and believed in him. They are not only fans of him, but also really fight and help his preaching. Because of them, Islam has become very popular throughout the world, right up to our current era. According to As-Sakhawi, their number could reach 100 thousand people, bro! Of the many friends, there are 10 people who will definitely go to heaven, without hesitation.

But the scholars say, this doesn’t mean that others don’t have the opportunity to enter heaven, because ultimately only Allah knows who really controls the affairs of heaven. 10 Names of the Prophet’s friends Who Are Guaranteed to Enter Heaven. Nine of those friends mentioned as those who will definitely enter Heaven are in the hadith conveyed by the Prophet Muhammad through his friend Sa’id bin Zaid. I said it myself through him. So, that makes it even more convincing that they are truly special friends in the view of the Prophet Muhammad.

Meaning: Narrated from Sa’id bin Zain bin Amr bin Nufail, the Messenger of Allah said, “There are ten people from the Quraysh who will be in heaven. “I am in heaven, Abu Bakr is in heaven, Umar is in heaven, Uthman is in heaven, Ali is in heaven, az-Zubair is in heaven, Talhah is in heaven, Abdurrahman bin Auf is in heaven, Sa’d bin Abi Waqash is in heaven,” Sa’id then stopped for a moment, until the friends who were listening asked, “Who are the ten?” Sa’id answered, “I am.” See: Musnad al-Humaidi, [Damascus: Darus-Saqa], 1996, juz I, page 197).
In this history, actually only nine friends are mentioned, because the tenth person is the Prophet himself, bro. But there is also another history that says the tenth was Abu Ubaidah bin Jarrah, as told by Ahmad bin Hanbal. (Can be seen in Ahmad bin Hanbal’s book, Fadhail ash-Shahabah, juz I, page 114).

So, why are they clearly told that they will go to heaven? There are two reasons, bro. First, Allah Himself chose them and placed them in the highest position among all friends. Second, they are a great example for us, Muslims, in the way we live for Islam. They became role models for the early generations of Islam, who fought hard to preach, fought for Islam, and even took over leadership after the Prophet Muhammad died. That’s why they are called the best among Muslims.

He also became the first caliph after Rasulullah saw died, and he was caliph for 2 and a half years. He was chosen as caliph because he was a senior figure, authoritative, ascetic, and understood many things. He has many merits, for example he was always loyal to accompany the Messenger of Allah when he was in the Tsur cave, and he also liberated the slaves, even spending all his wealth to preach Islam.
When he was caliph, he also fought against false prophets, apostates, developed Islamic territory, and conquered Persia, Syria, Iraq, and many more. Truly a great figure in Islamic history.

Uthman was known for his holiness, shame and glory. He is a gentle person, likes to do good, and is very patient. He also often fasts, except on prohibited days.
He was married to the Prophet’s daughter, Ruqayah, but after Ruqayah died, the Prophet remarried him to another daughter, Umm Kulthum. From his marriage his son, Abdullah, was born. Because of this, he was given the nickname “Dzun Nuraian,” which means the owner of two lights.
Uthman was also a man who diligently fought, except in the Battle of Badr, because he had to take care of his sick wife and finally died on the day of the Muslims’ victory. But even so, the Prophet SAW still called Uthman a fighter in the Badr war.
He is also famous as a person who sacrificed much of his wealth to religion. He helped many war troops, to the point where he bought the Ma’unah well from a Jew for 20 thousand dinars, then he gave wakafin to the Muslims. There is also a hadith which says that “Every prophet has a friend in heaven. And my friend in heaven is Uthman.” Truly an extraordinary figure.

When the Prophet was sent, Ali ibn Abi Talib was the first among the children to believe in him. He is also known as a brave and heroic figure. There was an incident when the Prophet migrated, where he slept in the Prophet’s bed and even wore the Prophet’s clothes to trick the polytheists who wanted to kill the Prophet. The next day, he followed the Prophet to Medina.
He participated in all the wars with the Prophet, except the battle of Tabuk, where the Prophet asked him to remain in Medina. Ali also narrated many hadiths from the Prophet, and many friends related hadiths from him.
Ali was also a confidant of Abu Bakr, and the first caliph often sought advice from him, especially when there were important problems.
